The Galatians church is urged to walk in step with the spirit, not in isolation but in fellowship with each other. Carry each other's burdens as a family, gently restore brothers caught in sin. Holiness does not just happen, there are no surprise crops, do not get weary the harvest worth it.

You can change and God wants you to. But to change first we need to recognise that you don't have free will. Our wills are captive to the power of the flesh: our weakness and tendency to sin. We don't have the strength of will in ourselves to change by our own power to be the people God wants us to be free. In order to be free we need God to work in us by his Spirit to change us.

What does my relationship with God have to do with other people? We need to see fellow believes the way Jesus sees us. The passage shows how tension built in the early church, a new area where Jewish people and gentiles can hang out together. The theme of not adding to the gospel continues emphasising "Not by works of the Law".

In Acts 9:1-19 Jesus speaks to Saul (Paul) while is travelling to Damascus in order to perpetuate the followers of Jesus. The church's greatest enemy becomes the father of the word to the gentiles. In this letter to the Galatians Paul is defending the gospel of salvation through faith and not through the mosaic law and Jewish tradition. The gospel is the source of new life, a life transforming message.

There is a stark difference between Christian attunes today and the views of Paul in this letter. Does the church today have no backbone?

Ephesians 1:1-11, Revelation 4:9-5:14 What is life all about, born to pay the bills and die? The bible teaches that God is glorious and worthy of praise. All of creation declares that God is worthy of praise. God's plan was for us to bring glory to him.
The Israelites are God's chosen people but in modern times we are a chosen generation, the gospel of Jesus is for the whole world. Repent, refine the way you live, revisit the glories of God.

John 14:6 Jesus makes an absolute claim “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes the father except through me. No Jesus No Life.
In Acts 17:16-34 Paul the apostle explains the gospel to the Athens and they do not get it. He explains the unknown God, who created all things and governs history. We are God's offspring. God commands all people everywhere to repent and turn to him.
n modern Australian relativism is the new religion. How can all religions be the same when at their core they fundamentally disagree. Relativism is itself a religion that claims to be exclusively true. Relativism is disrespectful as it refuses to listen to other people and allow them the right to a different opinion. Relativism is intolerant it demands that every one else agree with it.
